That is perverse.
If 99 people make $10 each and 1 person makes $1,000, and we get them all to vote to decide where’s the threshold for “obscene wealth”, and therefore what is a fair “cap” to impose on earnings (and what else is to be redistributed by force), you know that the democratic answer will be “$11”.
Fear not: such “democratic decision-making” will definitely not give the rich more voice than the poor…
